Ohio State University
I worked on various projects in their Facilities and Space Planning Department doing way-finding, signage, environmental design/branding, and graphics. I was tasked with the project to make a memorial for the service dog in Buckeye Paws I designed it myself.
Task
To craft a wall installation of dog tags in the shape of the buckeye paws logo.
I mocked up 2 dog tags, the top two are the Buckeyes paws logo, and the second two are the standard dog tags.
From here I conducted a scaling exploration to determine what would read best in the given measurements.
Once the scaling of the tags was determined. I played around with the arrangement of the tags to for them into a paw. The ones on the left are in the form of the Buckeye Paws logo while the ones on the right are the standard paw print.
Elevations
I mocked up what it would look like once installed.
